In December of 2011, SnipSisters organized their first ever free Spay and Neuter Clinics in the rural Mexican towns of Zimatan and Cuatunalco, near the resort town of Huatulco. Teaming up with 2 vets and 2 technicians from Puerto Vallarta and a handful of caring volunteers, 237 dogs and cats were spayed and neutered in a total of only 8 days! Imagine one surgeon standing on his feet, never moving, and intricately and precisely operating on more than 30 animals in a 8 hour day – it was astonishing to watch the focus and excellence of these surgeons….and SnipSisters are forever grateful for their commitment and passion.

Their first official foray into the world of sterilization surgeries and volunteer efforts proved one thing: Both Shelagh and Heidi were born to do this. Their commitment, drive and passion are infectious, and they are indebted to each and every person that offered their help, time or money. They are in this for the long haul, and they appreciate every single gesture of support they have received so far.
